Misconceptions of video games

The idea that people who play violent video games will end up doing violence thing or even kill people, this is one of the most controversial in recent times. When a minor does something violent, parents will tend to blame video games. For example GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5, released in 2013) has been put under fire due to multiple parents claiming that there child has learned something bad from it and while GTA does have activities such as killing, drug-use, and robbery, it is rated R18 appropiately. This would make it near impossable for children to buy the game, making (and not always the case) the parents responsible for letting the child play it in the first place. Now, while there are games out there that can infulence your child, it is your job to safely moniter and restrict them from playing such games in the first place.
